Reinvention of the oldest government building in Doha into a five star hotel with an emphasis on art production and exhibition. Drawing from middle eastern architectural motifs, the arcade provides a multivalent architectural device. Outside it provides a shaded landscape for pedestrians, vehicles, gardens, pools, and event spaces. Within it grows to enshrine the atrium and signature spaces.
